Lewis

C.S. Lewis is my favorite author, so I'd love to use the name for a son, even if only as a middle name.

Lewis is the Medieval English form of the French name Louis. Louis comes to us from Ludovicus, the Latin form of the Germanic name Ludwig, which is formed from the elements hlud meaning "fame" and wig meaning "warrior."
