Lily

• For me, the name brings to mind two lovely, albeit fictional, ladies--Lily (Evans) Potter and Lily Trescott. Lily Potter is a character from the Harry Potter series-Harry's mother who was killed when he was a baby. Her love was so strong that it protected him from death. Lily Trescott is of the Disney show Hannah Montana. Lily is Miley's (Hannah's) best friend, and is a bit of a tomboy, but is also sweet and the sort of friend everyone should have.
• Over used,feminine and a great name. I think that many people named their daughters after Lily Potter/Evans. Lilly and Lily is two different names for me and I really love Lily!
• Very sweet and feminine for a baby girl, but doesn't sound too childish for an older person. A good way to honor someone named susan (like my mother) because Susan means Lily.

• Lily Ella: I LOVE this name, it's cute, sweet and pretty. Lily use to remind me of a grandmother but now it's a very pretty and becoming popular name. I like the name Ella because it's classic and sweet meaning Beauty. I really think these names complement each other. I also really love Lily-Rose and Lily-Rose Melody.
