Lindell is an English surname which may have originally denoted a person who lived near a linden tree. Lindell
also Lindel. I may have made this up--couldn't find it on your site, but I've liked it for years. A twist on "Linden" with that soft "le" sound on the end. I would only use this as a middle name. My mother-in-law's name is Linda, which I don't like. Using Lindall might be a way to name a baby for her after all!
