Linden
- This would have been my daughter's name if she was a boy. No one else seems to like it, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway. ;-) I think it's a good strong choice for a boy and has interesting nickname possibilities. I kind of like the idea of calling a boy "Lin." It reminds me of Lynn Swann, the Steelers player from the 70s/80s. It also goes well with my son's name, Hollis, since they're both "tree" names.
- I was suprised not to find this name in the boys section this is a very strong boys name i think a boy called this is very caring and loving but also very strong
- It's been used as a girl's name, but I origionally found it down as a boy's name, and immediately liked it (for either gender). It's the name of a tree with heart-shaped leaves and yellow flowers. Not the most masculine name in the world, but it's a nice break away from the parade of Christophers and Andrews and Nicholases.
Linden is the name of a tree, also known as the lime (not the citrus fruit, trees in the Tilius genus).
