Loki

In Norse mythology, Loki was a shape-shifting giant god who was also known as Lie-Smith, Sly-God, Shape-Changer, Sly-One, Foxy-One, Lopt, Sky Traveler, Sky Walker, God of Mischief and Wizard of Lies. He was the god of trickery, mischief, and thievery who was associated with fire and magic. Eventually he became so evil the other gods had to subdue him by chaining him to a rock. The name may be related to the Indo-European root leug meaning "to break" or the Old Norse luka meaning "close."
