Lolita

Lolita is a diminutive of Lola, itself a diminutive of Dolores. The most famous Lolita is probably the eponymous character of Vladimir Nabokov's 1955 book. She is a 12-year-old girl named Dolores Haze who is the object of obsession of the narrator, a much older man named Humbert Humbert. Humbert's private nickname for her is Lolita. Since then "lolita" has become a slang term for a young girl who is considered sexually promiscuous or precociously seductive.
