Luca

• recognisable in many languages, it has a slightly exotic feel to it. With a more traditional middle name like 'James' it sounds more grounded.
• This is a name I like very much but as a second name.  All my kids have and will have two names instead of just one.  There are days when we wish we didn't have the name we were given and they'll have and alternative.

Luca is the Italian and Romanian form of Luke/Lucas. Lucas comes from the Greek Loukas, a name meaning "man from Lucania (region in Italy)."
