Maeve

• my cat's name, named for the warrior queen in Irish myth.
• our Daughter - this is her middle name, we liked the meaning of it and that it wa the name of a very strong Woman. Maeve was the first Queen of Ireland and a Goddess to many people, the latin translation of the name means Joyous. She is a great blessing to us and will alwasy bring us much joy
• Maeve Annick (An-EKE):  Maeve is a strong name, direct, to the point and Annick is a sweet Breton pet name that I heard in French Canada
• Maeve Margaret (Marguerite): Very cute, especially since it starts with the same letter.  It rolls off your tongue.                                                  

Maeve is an anglicization of the Irish name Meadhbh (from Old Irish: Medb). It was the name of a legendary Irish queen, and means "intoxicating; she who intoxicates."
