Miranda
A rare example of a more modern name I like. There are a lot of nick name possibilities, Randy, Mimi, Mira, but I prefer just Miranda.
- Old fashioned but pretty - it would make a pleasant change from Amanda
- a character on Sea Change. not a very common name and seems to remind me of exotic citrus fruits (that must sound strange!).
- MIRANDA PAIGE old fashion but yet popular
As a first name, Miranda was coined by William Shakespeare for his play The Tempest. It comes from a Latin word meaning "admirable, lovely."
