I love the name Nadia, and I like this spelling because it's different. I am seriously considering it for my baby, assuming she is not a he. Nadja is very un-Lauren/Katelyn/Ashley, but not in a trying-too-hard, Euro-trash sort of way. It is short for Nadezhda, a Russian name meaning "hope." The little girl in the Russian film "Burnt by the Sun" really made me love this name. I love that some form of it is used in almost every part of the world. Also it sounds good and stuff.
