Nico
Nico Arian (ary-anne): This is an Italian boy's name that I adore on a girl. I have got a cousin called Nicola and I think that this is just a gorgeous alternative. I love using boy's names on girls because it's just so refreshing. The middle name is a Welsh name meaning "silver" that I thought was beautiful and not one of those awful filler middle names!
Nico started out being a diminutive form of Nicholas (or forms of Nicholas in other languages). Also sometimes found Niko, it was nearly exclusively a boys' name until the singer/model/actress Nico (born Christa Päffgen) came on the scene in the 1960s. Now you occasionally find it on girls as well.
