Noah
- Beautiful Biblical boy name. It's also my husband's great-great
grandfather's name.
- I love the sound and spelling, makes me think of a cute, sweet boy, handsome, considerate man, can be rugged or sensitive
- beautiful name from the Bible
- This name has its roots in the Bible. When I think of this name, I can't help thinking of one who is independent and not afraid of ridicule.
- My son's name. A very precious name.
- I think this name is beautiful for a baby boy, and won't be too "cutesy" for an older male.
- Its a name that i've liked for a while
- Cute and its from the bible too
- love the sound of it, especially. It makes me think of a gentle man with a sensitive soul.
- strong or sweet, A great name which characterizes the man who built the ever so famous ark, translates into No-akh in Hebrew
- The name has biblical meaning to it which makes it even better!
- Noah Charles Philip Kelly: Noah after a good friend of mine, as well as the biblical character. Charles. Hmm, I don't really know where that came from. Philip after another friend of mine. Kelly I like to use for boys rather than girls. It gives it a nice finishing touch. Really it could just be Noah Kelly, but I like it all together.
- Noah James: Noah is a great, handsome name for a baby boy, but is also suitable for a teenager or a succesful (not to mention good looking) adult, though I am disapointed at its newfound popularity. James goes great with the name Noah. A very sensitive yet somehow masculine name.
- Noah Michael: This is my son's name! I absolutely love this name. I didn't realize that it was becoming popular, but I guess it is good not to be a complete odd ball later in life. It is biblical, short and Michael flows well with it, as well as being a family name.
- Noah Riley: Noah is also unusual but easy to spell and pronounce, plus it has good biblical associations-he is the "leader of all and the lover of all" in the Bible. Riley is a very modern name, but not too unusual or too common.
- Noah Thomas Wiley: Thomas and Wiley are family names and Noah I love cause it is biblical
The origin of the name Noah is uncertain. It is biblical in origin, and may mean "rest," or "To comfort." It may also mean "long-lived" or "wanderer."
