(Ray-ann): There was a character on the show My So Called Life named Rayanne (not sure of the spelling) and I decided that my first daughter will carry the same name. I chose this spelling because I liked the way it looked on paper. I fussed with different versions of it (see above) but liked the simplicity of this one.
