Rhett

I can't believe no one has added this name yet! A stronger, sexier variant of Rhys (Welsh: "enthusiasm," borne by several Welsh rulers). This name is most commonly associated with the Clark Gable character Rhett Butler, the original Dirty South Playa and everyone's favorite movie a-hole.

Rhett is an English form of the Dutch surname de Raedt which is derived from the Germanic root raet "advice, counsel." Its most famous bearer was the character of Rhett Butler in Margaret Mitchell's epic novel Gone With the Wind.
