Rocco is the Italian form of Roch, which is derived from Germanic hrok meaning "rest." It could also be a form of Racho, which in turn comes from the Germanic name Ragnobert, which is possibly made from the elements regin "advice" and beort meaning "bright."See Also: Rocco, Rock
