Samara

• I like the name Samara. I think it's unique and beautiful for a little girl. Also, its not used much.
• Samara Hope: Samara is a name that is NOT Samantha and yet can be nicknamed Sam.  I rather like Sam for a girl.  I also like the flow of Samara.  Hope is the one of the only virtue names I can stand.  I prefer its meaning, and I think it puts less pressure on a child than say, Chastity, Destiny, or Faith.  Hope is just hope.

This is a form of the Hebrew name Shamarana, which means "guardian." It is also used in Arabic.
