SARAH MARISSA (pronounce it maree-sa): I like this name because i having been trying for a baby for 11 years and just give up. I went on holiday overseas to a Greek island called KOS and when i came back i found out i was pregnant. SARAH means "little princess" MARISSA means "of the sea" The significance being we me going over seas to find I was pregnant when i arrived back I called my daughter SARAH MARISSA - PRINCESS OF THE SEA
Sarah is from Hebrew meaning "princess" or "lady." In the Old Testament, the character Sarah was originally named Sarai, meaning "contentious." However, God changed her name to Sarah, when he entered into a covenant with her where she, formerly barren, became pregnant at age 90.
