Seth

Seth is most commonly used as a Biblical name. It comes from Hebrew meaning "placed; appointed." In the Old Testament, Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve, and was so named because he was thought to have been appointed a replacement for his dead older brother Abel.

Seth (more commonly Set, but also known as Sheth, Setan or Seteh) is also an Egyptian god, coming from the Greek translation of Sutekh, transcribed from the hieroglyphics. Set was the god of desert, storms, and foreigners.
