Skye

• As a wiccan, I love names having to do something with nature or the elements and what other name could you want representing the element of Air.
• This name has a heritage, she had an Island in Scotland named after her, so if the sound of the name isn't good enough, the Island certainly is. 
• Skye Megara: The middle name comes from a goddess, I can't remember what she's the goddess of but I love the name. The first name is another island in Scotland that I love. This name would sound great with siblings called Arran, Harris, Iona, Islay, Jura & Lewis because they are also island names that I think are beautiful!

Skye started being used as a name probably after the Isle of Skye, the largest of the Inner Hebrides islands in Scotland. in Scottish Gaelic, this island's name is An t-Eilean Sgitheanach; though nobody is sure exactly what it means.
