Susannah

• I fell in love with this one when I was looking for a full name to go with the nickname Sunny. Susy and Sukie are nice nicknames too.
• For some reason, this name just calls out to me. It's so pretty for a sunny little girl.
• Hebrew for lily or rose. It sounds beautiful, and is unusual but not common.  Not fond of Susie for a nickname, so we call our little Susannah "Anna."  We chose it with the vision of our little girl being a sweet smelling blessing to the world, like a rose.

Susannah is the English form of the Hebrew name Shoshana, which means "lily" or "rose." Susan is another English form.
