I really like this name, and although it could be used for either a boy, or a girl, I think it fits well for a female with the "lyn" ending. The original spelling is Talon, which means: the claw of an animal; esp. of a bird of prey. I could see a strong, proud young woman, who achieves what she sets out to accomplish.
