Tenley

• my niece's name.  I've never heard of this name before.. it honestly took me a day or two to adjust to it, but it's become a favourite name of mine.  It's such a pretty and feminine name and it suites my niece perfectly.  And she will probably never meet another Tenley in her life!
• My granddaughters name is TENLEY. It is my favorite name. Very sweet.

Tenley is a form of the surname Tennally. As a girls' first name, it first came to prominence with Tenley Albright, who was the first American woman to win the olympic gold medal for figure skating (1956). Currently, the name is becoming very popular, probably inspired by Tenley Molzahn, a tv reality show star.
