• My current favorite boy's name is Thomas. It isn't too trendy, it is classic, and I like both Tom and Tommy for nicknames.
• Great classic name!  Always been a favorite of mine-makes me think of a a red-headed freckle-faced little boy
• I like this name because it's both distinguished in its long form and playful in its abbreviated form of TOM.
• because it sounds strong and upper-class.
• I like Thomas because it is a down to earth yet sophisticated sounding name. I would never shorten it to Tom.
