Trajan
after the Roman Emperor from 98-117 AD. A good emperor at that, perhaps that's why is not as famous as some of the others. It is a proud name without being to funky or contrived. We liked it so much that we named our son Trajan. At first the grandparents were not thrilled. But one look at the statue of Trajan in the Louve, they were sold.
