Troy
- Troy - Not only is it the name of my favorite Dallas Cowboy but I know a few men named Troy and I really don't hear it very often.
- This is a city in Michigan. I've always liked "Tr" names.
- Troy Alonzo Neil: I love the name because it flows well together. I love the meanings the most Troy means foot soldier, Alonzo means ready for battle and Neil means champion.
Troy was originally an English surname brought by the Normans to denote someone who was from the French town of Troyes (such as the 12 century poet Chrétien de Troyes). Its popularity as a first name probably stems from the fact that Troy is also the name of the city laid siege to in Homer's Iliad.
