No, I didn’t have ice cream for breakfast (but I could have). I didn’t stay up all night drinking instead of going to a family reunion. What did I do?

Um, I currently am rocking a magenta mohawk.

Don’t laugh, it was an accident… sort of.

My hair was getting too long, so I decided to cut it really really short. However, I don’t have an electric buzzer thing, so I was attempting to do this with scissors. The first attempt made me look like a recent fashion-lesbian convert making a feeble attempt to join Dykes on Bikes. Basically, it screamed LONG-ISLAND BRED SMITH STUDENT (only hot pink). So, each time I cut more off, it got more lopsided. Thus I ended up thinking, “hey, I’ve always wanted a mohawk!”

Unfortunately, because the only materials I had to work with were some scissors and a couple of CVS brand disposable razors, it’s a pretty shoddy job. And, after all that work, I’ve discovered that well, I just don’t look good with a mohawk. At least I got this out of my system. Of course, at age 32 and 1/2, it’s more lame and pathetic than experimentally rebellious, but whatever. This haircut will definitely get me the opposite of laid, thank goodness I have a good hat to wear until it grows out!

thank
