Today we had a conversation something like this:

me (to Rae): Hey, bitch!
me (to Aragorn): Yo, Bitch!
Rae (to Robin & me): Bitchez!
Robin (to Rae & Aragorn): Yo bitchez!
Aragorn (to Robin): Hey, bitch!
Aragorn (to me): Bitch!

It’s kind of like how Krustee and I used to have conversations that consisted entirely of the word “dude.” “Dude” can actually have multiple meanings; it’s much more expressive than “Bitch.” “Dude…” is an attention getting word.” “Dude?” can mean a variety of things, like “what?” “Duuuuude!” can be an agreement, or a “hey, look at that!” kind of word. Then there’s “Dude.” That’s like “Word.” So, Krustee and I have had conversations like this:

Me: Dude…
Krustee: Dude?
Me (pointing): Duuude!
Krustee: Dude.

So I guess Bitch is the new Dude. I wonder if this is an indication that we’re returning to a matriarchal society?
