Thanks to the spam du jour, I think I want my next band to be called Spongy Basement Pogo! (the exclamation point is what really makes it).

I’ve been listening to marilyn Manson’s Mechanical Animals CD, which I really like a lot!

What else can I say? Work today was kind of uneventful. Even though it was the Busiest Shopping Day of the Year elsewhere, Gubmin’ Cenna wasn’t anymore packed than usual–most people had the day off, and don’t live anywhere near the store, so it wasn’t too crazy. Tomorrow is my last day downtown–how should I mourn/celebrate?

I’m definitely not going to miss all the customers who come in drunk and/or cracked out of their skulls. I’m not going to miss all the shoplifters, and the large number of vagrants and various customers who smell like pee. I most likely will not miss the ‘tards and loonies. I will miss tracking down random things for people, and the opportunity to use my vast knowledge of the store’s inventory, even though it annoys my co-workers. Shoot me because I know what all the Three Stooges merchandise is in the store! The last time I checked, knowing everything in the store was a *good* thing for an employee. I can’t help it if I have a good memory for stuff like this. Anyway, I won’t have to put up with various co-workers’ snide comments and eye-rolling anymore. This is a good thing!

I’m on to bigger and better things, or something different at least… I still haven’t gotten a chance to re-do all the local bands in red, though (only about half of them are currently in red, and I hate inconsistency). In fact, there are still about 5 mini-projects that I haven’t gotten to. Oh well–it’s not my problem anymore! Besides, the projects are anal-retentive, nitpicky things that only I care about anyway. Other people would just laugh.
