I’m slipping! I used to know absolutely everything about James Bond movies, but I had completely forgotten that “The world is not enough” is the Bond family coat of arms. In fact, I’m losing a lot of dumb facts, like which movie was Donald Pleasance in? Which movie had the first appearance of Ernst Stavro blofeld? Wow. I gotta brush up!
I’m remembering this, because Krustee, Jared and I watched On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the Official Worst James Bond movie ever made tonight. Hey, I got it out of the free bin at work, OK? Damn it sucked. It’s the only Bond movie I’d seen only once. I remember it sucking from when I watched it when I was like 11, but I didn’t remember the degree to which it totally bit ass. It was fun, though.
The Krustemeister and I went record shopping today– I got a bunch of awesome stuff out of the fiddy cen’ bin at In Your Ear, including Richard Harris’ Greatest Hits, an album with some German kids narrating Snow White, A dude explaining the finer points of the Kinsey Report, and…
TONY SALATAN! As in “let’s all sing a song today, song today, song today! Let’s all sing a song today with Tony Salatan…” He had a folk music sing along show on PBS in the 70s which they made us watch in 1st grade. We had to sing along and stuff. It even has “Bring me little Water, Sylvie”, which I remember liking. AND, the record is SIGNED by tony himself! And it was only $0.50!!! Can you believe it?!?! I can’t.
So, today was a resounding success. Krustee got some cool LPs as well. We shall take over the cool cheap LP collecting universe.

Argh, that posted twice on accident. It didn’t look like it was working so I had changed it a bit and hit post again. So, naturally it posted both versions.
I really wasn’t that excited about his email - I swear.
Anyway, the email given for him at the top of that page I linked has hardvard.edu in it - that’s what I meant.
