Fudgitty fudge fudge fudge
Apparently the payment I made to the car insurance place got there too late. Therefore, they cashed my check… and then sent me a letter today informing me that my insurance has been cancelled. They also sent me a new check, which was nice of them. They only shaved off $10 for the cancellation fee or something.
So… my car is uninsured. Great! Because the place is only open 9-5, and I work 9-6, I’ll have to arrange to leave work early sometime soon. Of course the insurance place is in Inman, which requires 2 different buses, I think–unless the 86 bus goes there. If it does, it goes the super long way, and will probably take forever. I’d be better off on my bike.
Grrrr. Money. Stupid fucking money and lack thereof. Money isn’t supposed to be able to buy happiness, and it’s a logical fallacy to assume that the lack of money causes the lack of happiness. However, i’d be so much more relaxed and able to enjoy life if I didn’t constantly have this mounting debt hanging over my head, threatening to evict me and/or devour my soul.
So, I just applied to a bunch of part time jobs. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a second job so that I’ll be able to do things like laundry and eat.
