yay, printer!
I finally got my stupid printer to work! I bit the bullet and bought a color cartridge for it (by the time I got around to buying a B/W cartridge, the color one I got with it had dried up). Now I can print things, and it’s pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve ever used this printer and I’ve had it for how long? Since I bought that computer for the Bulgarians who were leaving the country, and they threw the printer in because they didn’t sell it, and didn’t feel like dealing with it. Hmm… I think I’ve had it for 4 years or more just sitting around taking up space! Well now it is a useful, working member of my family. Welcome to the world of my machinery, Printer! I think I’ll name it Euphemia. It’s an Epson, so one would be inspired to call it Eppie, which is also a nickname for Euphemia… the Name Nerd strikes again!
Today was a day off, and I did absolutely nothing. Seriously. It was AWESOME. Later on I went to Target and got some supplies to make some X-mas presents with, but from 9-5 I was chillin’ like Bob Dylan. Days off are awesome!
The Biatch is stranded here for Christmas, since there was a giant snowstorm in Colorado, and all the flights were cancelled for a day or so. Now all the flights there are booked, since people are making up for the couple of no-travel days. Poor Biatch! Luckily there is plenty of booze in the house for her.
