I am so full of food. Yay! Terrence and Tanya made a scrumptious meal of fried chicken, rice, cornbread, salad, broccoli, and I’m sure there was something else I forgot. Food is awesome. The cool thing about being out of groceries and subsisting on toast and cereal every day is that “normal” food tastes totally awesome. Good food tastes like you’re floating in heaven, seriously! Food rules.
I also cleaned the house a little bit– my apartment was getting scary. I’m a slob, and if I don’t plan to have guests over or anything I don’t clean unless I have to… except the bathroom. For some reason, I always like the bathroom to be really clean. Now the kitchen area is clean as well. It’s kind of nice to have a clean house, though i know it will last about 10 maybe 20 minutes! Now that it’s summer, though, I have a new inspiration to clean: mold. Since it’s so moist down here, mold grows on absolutely everything– the bottoms of juice glasses if you don’t rinse them out right away, cat barf (it’s always lovely to find a pile of damp, moldy cat barf in some unexpected place), unwashed dishes, 1/2 cups of undrunk tea… I don’t have a sink, so I can’t put these in the sink and then wash them when it gets a few things in it. I have to remember to go into the laudry room and wash stuff more often, though, because my allergies are driving me crazy!
Everyone in the neighborhood grows these flowers, which I am deathly allergic to:

Curse you, bee balm! You suck!
Ok, I’m going to go read the last Harry Potter book now. Luckily the people I know who bought the book on Friday are fast and eager readers and are finished now (i.e., Tanya. Lil Bitch still has to read it one more time) so I can dive in. So far, I’m on page 3.
