Do I want to watch an episode of the show Firefly, or do I want to go to bed and be well-rested for work tomorrow? Thanks to Saki Puck, I’m now addicted to Firefly. It’s a pretty freaking awesome show– it’s a sci-fi show, only it’s humorous. It’s not a comedy, but it has a lot of funny elements in it that are clever and stuff. I don’t know how to describe it any better than that.
The innernets has been acting really funny lately–I hope it’s the connection and not my computer. My computer has been having issues recently– for example, one time out of 20 when you boot up it says “keyboard missing” and you have to re-boot it. For a little while it was claiming “hard drive missing” until it was re-booted again. Luckily that seems to have stopped.
OH YEAH I FORGOT!
I am the owner of an iPod! I have entered the 21st century! Saki got a new bigger iPod and gave me his old one. I’m still learning how to futz with the menus and stuff– it’s way more complex than my old MP3 player. Unlike my old one, it doesn’t record anything (I liked being able to record random noises and conversations and stuff on the train). However, it has a billion times more disk space and you can make playlists. Of course, the whole point of an iPod is to constantly scroll through the endless menus looking for a song you want (at least judging from the people who have them on the T), so I’ll have to practice that. Luckily Saki and I have a lot of musical things in common, because he forgot to give me the cord that connects the ipod to the computer, so I can only listen to the music he already had on there!
I guess I’ll go to bed now. Bah.
