Ariana

• this name is Maaori for sweet song. It suits a sweet person with charm and splendor.
• This is such a beautiful, feminine name. I have never met anybody called Ariana but I imagine the person to be as beautiful as the name. Ariana Taylor is such a great name!
• Ariana Rose: My cousin has this name, and is usually called "Ari". I think it just sounds nice.
• Ariana Star I think this is a fantastic feminine name that is fairly unused.  It has a mystical pretty sound to it and I just love it.

Ariana is a German form of the Greek name Ariadne. Sometimes it is considered a modern Welsh name, the word arian ("silver" as in the names Arianrhod and Arianwen), plus the latinate -a tacked on the end.
