Benjamin
- My little brothers name, and to me it will always be associated with an adorable little pudgy kid who tells bad jokes. It's just one of the sweetest little boys names ever, but not so boyish that when he grown up he will feel that it's juvenile. Plus, there's all the nicknames derived from it, Ben, Benny, Benji.
- Will be the name of my first born son, because it produces such adorable nicknames, Ben and Benji. It will also age well and carries a kind of "gentlemen" quality.
- This name has strong Biblical roots as well as being a very strong, masculine name. Ben is also a great nickname!
- i love this name. i wouldn't call him ben though. all the ben's i have met have been polite, well manored, intelligent and friendly.
- son of the right hand. A great name for our firstborn!
- always loved this name. Hate the nickname Benny or Benji though. Another strong name with a long and storied past.
- This is a fun name, traditional but not overused. The nickname "Ben" is cute, too.
- is just a great classic name. I love the nickname Ben. I think it is a great name for a little boy as well as an adult.
- Benjamin Malachi: I think it flows well. Also love the nick name Ben. Sounds masculine.
In Hebrew, Benjamin means either "son of the right hand" or "son of the south."
