Charlotte

• a gorgeous old fashioned name that (sadly) is getting popular again :-(
• It's dark, simple, classic... I used to not like it, but if you don't think of the spider, it's a lovely Victorian name with an edge and strength to it. Very dramatic.
• Classic, French, beautiful name.  Invokes a sense of playfulness, sweetness, and timelessness that most names can not.
• Its a beautiful name that will always remain feminine and timeless. And an added bonus is that both my grandmother and great-grandmother's names were Lottie so its a nice, but not too obivous, way to honor these women.
• think it's a pretty and sweet name, unusual and would suit a young girl but also a lady.
• I love the sound of this name.  It's classic, elegant and not terribly common.  And while I normally HATE nicknames, Charlie is growing on me.    
• This name is very beautiful because it's elegant and sophisticated and works with most last names. You can use a variety of nickcnames, such as Lottie and Charla.
• Charlotte is a classical, elegant, and strong name that reflects the tradition values I cherish. Being the Anglophile I am, I like the stuffy, upper-crust English feel it has, too. My plan was to have three daughters and name them Charlotte, Emily, and Anne, as in the Brontė sisters.
• The name Charlotte is fine on it's own, but I like the nicknames Lottie and Carlie. I've liked Lottie since reading A Little Princess at age eight. Lottie was the youngest girl in the school and a brat because her mother was dead. Sara told her about angels and she became a sweetheart. Carlie is simply a neat name.
• I think charlotte sounds distinguished and you can give the more casual nickname of Charlie if you wish. It is pretty and cute at the same time and again fits girls of all ages.

• Charlotte Elizabeth Jane: Again, a name with history a taste of the English countryside. Charlotte can be shortened to Charlie which I think is pretty cool, but also sounds regal. Elizabeth is my middle name and my mother's middle name, so there is a family link there. As for Jane, one of my best friend's is named Jane and I think it all flows together.
• Charlotte Emily: a sweet-sounding name
• Charlotte Jane: Charlotte is lovely, feminine and soft and strong. Lottie is a good nickname. Jane is for Jane Eyre, and is also a verson of Joan, my and my mother's middle name.
