• I read somewhere that it means She Who Dreams. It's a very pretty and unusual name.
• Danae (Duh-nay) Juliette: is a beautiful French name that means "God is my Judge", and Juliette was the star of Shakespeare's most famous work!

Whichever name book listed Danae as meaning "God is my judge" probably are getting it confused with Daniel (which means the same thing). Danae is a name from Greek mythology; she was the mother of Perseus.
