Danica

• sounds very pretty, and not popular at all
• Danica  (hebrew;means Gracious)  Jessi  (hebrew;The Lord is) ; this is my daughter's name and i chose the first because it was unusual but also because of its meaning.her middle name just seem to fit with it.
• Danica Rae: Danica means morning star, and is of Slavic heritage, even though we're not. Its a strong name that will give her a sense of independence as a woman of the 2000's !:)

In most Slavic languages where this name is used, Danica is pronounced /dah NEET sa/. It is not related to the Hebrew name Daniel, although occasionally it is used as a feminine form by those who are sick of Danielle/Daniela.
