David
- Although it means "beloved" this name reminds me of a godly man. It reminds me of David Brainerd who was an amazing man of Christ. He was a missionary to the American Indians.
- Not only is this the name of one of my cousins, this also was one of the Kings of old Israel, the Israel that was likely inhabited by at least a few of my ancestors, and is a national hero to the Jewish people. For the latter reason, "David" has a connotation of nobility and rulership.
- gentle and classical. Does not date at all
- love the fact that it can be used in any religion, race or country
- Okay, so it's common as dirt. So what? It's an incredibly strong, sensual name. And incomparably sexy. 3/4 of the men I've been madly in love with have been named David. It is difficult to find a David without a hell of a lot of personal magnetism. Hebrew for "beloved."
- Maybe it is old and worn out, but it is a family name of mine and still flows very well in everyone's mind.
- like King David
- Name of two of my fave actors
- Over-used, yes. But it's mystique never seems to die out.
- David Elijah: It is my grandfather’s initials and Elijah is not a name you here very often.
- David Micheal: a classic, but it shows strength and caring
- David Joseph: -stroung willed
- David Paul: David was a very strong warrior in the Bible, and it is also the name of one of my very good friends. Paul just goes nicely with it.
