Dorcas

I think Dorcas is a cool name, it's scottish and definately underused. You could make it into a whole lot of different nicknames (as long as one isn't "Dorkey") and it goes with almost any last naem I can think of.

Dorcas is a biblical name. It means "gazelle" in Greek. It has been popular in Scotland, because it was used to anglicize the Scottish Gaelic name Deòridh (which means 'pilgrim'). The one girl I knew named Dorcas went by "Cass."
