India
- is a beautiful name for a girl that sounds cute for a little child yet grown up and exotic for a grown woman. I also love that it has a history of use in the Old South where I live.
- just a really awesome name with a potentially great nickname: Indy! I'm from Indiana...And naming a child Indiana would just be TOO obvious! LOL...No, I am really into traveling-- and I loved going to India...
- Short, strong sounding name, lots of vowels, pretty sounding name, exotic connotations, good for people of all races and can be used the world over
- India Amandine - India because it's not only a literary classic name, it's a semi-trendy country name that ultimately has it's linguistic root meaning in Sanskrit: River. (as is Indus River). The country itself is lovely (albeit crowded!)and is culturally amazing! India also has a strong yet feminine feeling to it. Amandine - Is an old, French, pet form of the ultra popular Amanda. It feels classier than Amanda, stronger too and a bit less fluffy, while retaining a feeling of grandeur & dignity. I think an Amandine would feel quite comfortable in front of the Queen of England!
- India Jade: It's different, but I really think that if I ever have a little girl, this may the name I give her.
- India Lee: Extrememly dreamy and pretty.
- India Selene: I like the name India Selene because its beautiful and unique
