Jaden (boy)
- because it can be used for a boy or girl and I love the name
- Jaden Velvet: This is just such a beautiful unisex name that i've only recently found and I luv it . The nn would b J.V.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith used the name Jaden for their son. They were the ones to bring this name to public attention--they probably created it as a masculine form of Jada. Jaden's popularity skyrocketed in the 90's-00's with the popularity of names like Braden, Caden, Aidan etc. Many books list it as being Hebrew, meaning "gift of God" or "God has heard," but I can't find any trusted sources to confirm this.
