Johanna

An example of two boring names fused together to make an interesting and pretty one. It's quite strong yet pretty and some good nicknames are available too. I much prefer it with the 'h'.

Johanna was originally a German name pronounced /yo HAH na/. It is a feminine form of Johann. In modern English usage, it's just an alternate spelling of Joanna, which is the same name, only deriving from the Latin Ioannes (John).
