KEE-zee-ya From "The Diddakoi" by Rumer Godden. It sounds exotic but also has a nice friendly nickname in "Kizzy". I also just like the sound of names with "Z" in them, especially now that my surname has too many "S"s in it for "S" names to sound any good.


Pronounced "keh ZY ah", this is a biblical name (one of Job's daughters). It is a Hebrew form of the cinnamon plant, whose Latin name is cassia.
