Mallory
I love this name for a girl bacause it is strong-sounding, but the ending "y" makes it sound feminine at the same time. I like it spelled with 2 "l"s because that's how the Mt. Everest explorer George L. Mallory spelled it. He was lost on the mountain at the turn of the century and no one knows if he made it to the top before he died. If he did, he would have been the first ever to the summit. This name is also good because it sounds equally nice in French or in English.
