Michelle

• This name is a classic, and has such a sweet yet elegant sound with the "L" sound at the end. It's a perfect name to use for naming a daughter after her father, if his name is Michael. It reminds me of the late "Full House" character, Michelle Tanner (played by the adorable Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley)  
• Michelle Deanne: as for this name we liked it because we thought it sounded like she would be a very smart little girl and we liked the way it sounded old fashioned.
• Michelle Elaine: Michelle is my best friend's name, I think it's so pretty.  Michelle is foreign sounding (sounds great when someone with an accent says it!!!), and something about the Elaine with it just makes it ring like music.  

Michelle is a French feminine form of Michel, which is how you say Michael. It took off in populararity after the Beatles' song "Michelle" hit the charts in the mid 1960s.
