Morgaine

• (like Morgan but with a long a) Ashlyn - Morgaine was a character in the book Mist of Avalon. She was a very strong spirited proctective person. THis also puts an old spin on a modern name. Morgaine is the old Irish spelling of Morgan. Ashlyn - I'm not sure. It just goes well with Morgaine I think.
• its another version of Morgan-Morgana, she was one of the lady's of the lake, and some believed her to be sidhe. it has a unique history

This is a Breton form of Morgan used by Marion Zimmer Bradley in her Arthurian novel The Mists of Avalon.
