Nevaeh
- I think it sounds evil and mysterious. It would be good for a character in a story. I pronounce it Nev-aire (rhymes with Claire).
- (na-vah) It's heaven spelled backwards and everyone comes from heaven. It's a special little name
- Beautiful name for a little girl--- Pronounced "Nev-E-ah" --- It is HEAVEN spelled backwards!!! :) I love it... but can't sell my husband on it... maybe someone else can! :)
- (Nuh-vy-uh) Heaven spelled backwards, a name that is uncommon but feminine and fresh-sounding, Nevi is also a good nickname for a child
Nevaeh Sarai: Nevaeh (Nuh Vay Uh) Sarai - i like this name because if you look at it Nevaeh is Heaven spelled backwards, and in the bible Sara's name was Sarai then it got changed to Sara
- Neveah Xelima Marie: I love the name Neveah Xelima Marie for a girl. It's pronounced Nih-VEE-uh Ze-LEE-ma. I love the name Neveah because it is heaven spelled backwards and it has a Hebrew, biblical sound. The name Xelima is a combination of names I found while researhing my family history. In the 1700s, I had a relative named Zelina Zema. I combined these names to make Zelima. In the 1500s, I discovered a cousin named Xainte (pronounced Zaint). I loved these names and combined them to make Xelima. And Marie I love because it is such a classic, timeless name!
I think the first person to use this name was Sonny Sandoval of the Christian rock group group P.O.D., who gave it to his daughter in 2000. This name has been taking off since then, as it is "heaven" spelled backwards. However, despite its populsrity, it doesn't seem like any two people pronounce it the same! Some places list it as being a Slavic name meaning "butterfly." I have no idea where this came from, but it's certainly not very accurate.
