Sharona
My favorite name is mine... Sharona. A female's name of course. In my family we sorta use the same fist initial of our mom, which is S. Back then, (early 80's) The Knack was my older sister's favorite group, and before I was born, I was told that they had a hard time coming up with a nice uncommon name that starts with S. So the song "My Sharona" came out and it just stuck. As a kid, I didnt like it, but as I got older, I realized that I never heard that name anywhere else but that song. So I felt kinda unique. I think its the best name they could have given me, cuz by the time I got to school, they had enough of Shantell's and Shante's.
