Tancred
This is a medival French masculine name. I love it because it sounds "knightly", but it avoids the stereotypical romanticism of Lancelot or Tristan. I'm also fond of this name because my husband is French, so we've always tried to find names with a French background for our kids. (Haven't used Tancrede yet, though!)
